Our staff recently completed the first stage of cataloging a generous bequest of 529 pieces we acquired from the estate of Dr. Claude H. Harris, Jr., 33°. Among the collection are some 489 Masonic works—301 books, 186 periodicals, one facsimile, and one manuscript.
The next steps in the cataloging process include protecting and preserving damaged books in the collection and determining where most appropriately to place these materials in our library. For now, the entire collection resides [...]

When students arrived at School Without Walls at Francis Stevens for their first day back from summer vacation they were greeted by beautiful bulletin boards in the hallways and can now enjoy their lunches and do work on sturdy picnic tables because of the Masons & Eastern Star members of the District of Columbia.
