Donor Recognition

Donor Recognition Gifts

The Scottish Rite Donor Recognition Program honors the brethren and friends who have made donations to one of the Scottish Rite’s charities. Donors are recognized at various levels based on the amount of their donation. Gifts may be made to the House of the Temple Historic Preservation Foundation, Inc. or to the Scottish Rite Foundation, Southern Jurisdiction, U.S.A., Inc. Gifts may be in the form of cash donations, pledges, or planned gifts. Planned gifts include leaving a bequest in your will, life insurance policy, pension plan or by establishing a charitable gift annuity, charitable remainder trust, or pooled income fund.

  • Donors who divide their gifts between a local foundation and either the Scottish Rite Foundation, S.J., U.S.A., Inc., or the House of the Temple Historic Preservation Foundation, Inc., giving at least $500,000 to one of the national Foundations, will qualify for the Pillars of Charity recognition level.

  • Please note: tokens of appreciation are sent from the Supreme Council only in recognition of contributions where at least 50% of the gift is designated for the House of the Temple Preservation Foundation, Inc., or the Scottish Rite Foundation, S.J., U.S.A., Inc., not for contributions solely to local Foundations.
