October 21st was a bittersweet day for the Fort Worth Valley. We said goodbye to our longtime Chairman, James D. Ward and welcomed our new Chairman Kenneth C. Curry. Brother Ward had been Chairman of the Fort Worth Valley for 14 years. Jim might be retiring, but we know that he will stay active.


500th Degree for Guthrie Valley Brother

The photo to the right is of John King, 33°, from the Valley of Guthrie. At the October 2010 Reunion in Guthrie, Oklahoma, John worked in his 500th Degree as a Supernumerary. He began working as a supernumerary in 1979 and is now Director of supernumeraries for the Valley of Guthrie. Brother King is Director of the 7th degree and acts the following roles: Spirit of Retribution-7th, Banah-15th, Lt. Commander-21st, Michael-27th, Vedic Poet-32nd.
