Freemasonry played a unique role in America’s founding that deserves highlighting and celebrating alongside our Nation’s semiquincentennial. Masonic ideals were central to our nation’s founding principles and documents, and these remain just as relevant today, as exemplified in our Scottish Rite Creed and Scottish Rite Mission Statement.

Show your pride in Masonic America by purchasing an American flag flown over the House of the Temple in Washington, D.C. Proceeds from all purchases will go to the Scottish Rite Foundation, Southern Jurisdiction, U.S.A., Inc., to support philanthropic efforts such as the RiteCare Scottish Rite Childhood Language Program, grants, scholarships, and national disaster relief.

Purchased flags will come folded and with a certificate of authenticity. Certificates will include the name of the person/group for whom it was flown and be signed by the Sovereign Grand Commander, Ill. James D. Cole, 33º and Grand Executive Director, Ill. William G. Sizemore, 33º, GC.

You can purchase a flag for yourself, or in honor of someone else, such as a newly raised Brother or a newly coroneted 33° member, or in the name of an organization such as your Valley, Lodge, or appendant body.
