Current Interest: Two Omaha Valley Members Lead Grand Lodges

The Valley of Omaha encompasses parts of eastern Nebraska and western Iowa and has the distinction of having among its membership the serving Grand Masters of two Masonic jurisdictions—Iowa and Nebraska.

MW Craig C. Hummel, 33°, became a Mason in Ark Lodge No. 335, Oakland, Iowa, in 1982 and was coroneted a 33° Inspector General Honorary in 2007.

MW John T. Parsons, 33°, was raised in George Lininger Lodge No. 268, Omaha, in 1975 and was coroneted a 33° Inspector General Honorary in 1999.

Ill. Hummel and Parsons are part of the Omaha Scottish Rite tradition of leadership and service.
