The House of the Temple contains a piece of the White House.

White House stone from Americanism CollectionTrue! It’s in our Americanism Collection!* “The stone shown right was removed from the wall of the White House during its restoration and rebuilding. If you look closely, you can see interlaced square and compasses with a vertical bar descending to a small cross bar on the left side. This is most likely the mark of one of the stone masons that worked on the White House. The stone was donated to the Supreme Council, 33°, Southern Jurisdiction, by President Harry S. Truman on November 22, 1952.” *There’s actually another piece of the White House in our collection, but you’ll have to check back to hear about that one. Better yet, come visit and take the tour! 😉
