“Pull for Kids” Trapshoot to benefit the Walker Scottish Rite Clinic for Childhood Language Disorders will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2013 with 8:00 am Registration and Rounds staring at 9:00 am. The event will be held at the Gateway Gun Club in Bridgeton, MO and there will be two skill levels – Novice and Intermediate. Entry fee is $85 per shooter (Only $75 for Early Bird Registration by 3/15/13!) ; each shooter will receive 50 targets, 50 shells, plus food & beverages. The day will boast Fun & Meat Shoots, Raffles and Prizes along with a delicious BBQ lunch. Participants must provide their own gun, ear and eye protection. Participants under 18 years of age must have adult participant/supervision.
“Pull for Kids” will benefit the Walker Scottish Rite Clinic for Childhood Language Disorders which is a non-profit 501(c)(3) charity providing professional therapy to children ages two through six with speech and language disorders in the greater St. Louis area. The Clinic has been a valuable resource for parents of children with communication challenges for 25 years and currently serves over 800 children annually in five key locations; mid-town St. Louis, Elsberry, Union, Crystal City, Missouri and a downtown St. Louis Head Start locations. Services include screenings, evaluations, individual and group therapy, audiological evaluations, and parent training. All services are provided free for children in need.
Because all services are provided free of charge, the Walker Scottish Rite Clinic relies on fundraisers such as “Pull for Kids” to support the programs and help children.
