Current Interest: Supreme Council’s Web Site Has a New Look

The Supreme Council, 33°, S.J., launched its redesigned website, www.scottishrite.org, on January 4, 2011. The site highlights current events from Masonic groups across the country, maintains contact information for Valleys, Orients, and RiteCare clinics, and has links to Supreme Council membership services. With an average of 3,000 hits a day, our website receives hits from every country in the world. It is used for everything from browsing the online library catalog to requesting assistance from headquarters employees.

“We wanted to make sure we had a new, engaging website in 2011. This recently designed site will allow members to enjoy and use more content than in the past,” said SGC Ronald A. Seale, 33°.

Created by Supreme Council employees, Elizabeth McCarthy, Senior Desktop Publishing Specialist, and Jeri Walker, Development Coordinator, with editing and text by Heather K. Calloway, Director of Special Programs, the website has been in production for over ten months and is edited and added to every day. Drop by and see what you think—you’ll probably want to stay for a while.
